“Red Bull Under My Wing” was created by Naranjo and Saavedra and the aim of the program is to provide young athletes with valuable tools such as one-on-one guidance and expert mentoring to develop their skills in the sport they are passionate about. “Red Bull Under My Wing” travels worldwide, uniting talented young hopefuls with the best athletes of the world to provide a once in a lifetime experience.
Only 25 local riders take part in each workshop where motorcross star and Red Bull athlete Mohammed Balooshi will be leading the program, offering local motorcross riders intensive motocross riding training, techniques and guidance.
Mohammed Balooshi was crowned double UAE Champion at the 2009 and 2010 UAE Motocross Championships, the 33-year-old Red Bull athlete turned his attention to full-time racing in 2002.
In 2003, Mohammed was named Best UAE Motocross Rider after his participation in the Red Bull Super X in the City event, which was held for the first time in the capital Abu Dhabi. He won the title of UAE Motocross Champion in 2005, 2006 and came fourth in the 2007 season. Mohammed’s growing list of spectacular motocross wins include podiums in all the major national championships with three first-place championship finishes in a row in 2009 in Kuwait, Bahrain and Egypt. He now also holds back-to-back wins for the Tunisia Arab Championship in both 2009 and 2010.
